    Hi Tom,

We are using your plugin with success on every page of our site, except for the front page. There the data layer spans (.gtm4wp_productdata) are not created and so no events are sent back to google.

The main difference is that the front page is put together with gutenberg, with the official woocommerce blocks that display categories of prodicts from certain categories.

Doo you have any info if gtm4wp should be working with gutenberg blocks (Woo 4.0) and it’s just some config issue, or do we have to use clssic woo shortcodes to make it work properly?

    Köszi,
    Krisz

    Hi Krisz,

Unfortunately blocks are currently not properly tracked due to the very different nature of those elements. They do not go through the traditional hooks of WordPress and WooCommerce therefore they are not automatically tracked by GTM4WP.

I am still trying to figure out how they could be handled easily, if you have any specific solution, do not hesitate to share it with me 🙂

    Thanks Tom,

That’s what I thought. Well, probably i’m better off reconstructing the front page with the traditional shortcodes. But if I happen to stumble upon some solution, I’ll be sure to let you know 🙂

    Best,
    KRisz
