Did a manual upload to FTP as well, gives same result.

I will now remove it completely, and then retry a normal install.

Clean install did not work as well… keep getting the error stated above. I have no idea how to solve it. I could update on my test site without issues.

Same here, it seems more errors after upgrading. Waiting for another updates 🙂

I am also going to delete this plugin as I get this warning that I received as an email from my admin:
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Site Kit by Google.

    🙁

@darkallman thanks for your report (and everyone in the thread)! Could you confirm from which version of Site Kit you updated to 1.3.0? Thank you

@darkallman could do the following to clear the error:

    1) Download, install and activate this mini plugin
    2) Navigate to the plugins page from the WordPress Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins)
    3) Update/ activate Site Kit

Please let me know if this resolves the issue for you.

Important: Deactivate and delete the mini plugin after use.

@darkallman we just released version 1.3.1. Could you update to that version and let us know if the error resolves for you? Thanks!
