I set up my new podcast and had a main page for the podcast, which suddenly turned into all XML. I’m not sure how to get rid of it so I can use that URL as my page again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    You used the slug “podcast”

To fix that, in PowerPress settings > epiosdes page, at the bottom is a podcast permalinks pulldown. Pull it to “match feed… ” the only other setting than default WordPress.

Then in your WordPress settings > permalinks, resave the permalinks. That should clear it up.

    Happy Podcasting!

Mike, I did as you recommended but still have one small problem. The XML is gone, but the page keeps saving as podcast-2. There is no podcast page in the trash. I did re-save the permalinks. Any idea why its still dumping me to -2 when I try to change it?

It’s likely that the slug Podcast is still taken by PowerPress. OR you also have a category with the slug podcast.

Try changing it to Podacsts you will get a page address with podcasts in it an it will solve all the issues with the conflict in slugs.
