I can’t immediately publish my posts since the latest wordpress update.
When I press the “publish” button, the post does not immediately appear, then the words “scheduled” appear.
I have set the right timezone for the server and PHP and also in WordPress.
I use centos 7 x64 server, nginx on vpssim web server.
    Can anyone help me?
    thank you

This sounds like something that was fixed in WordPress 5.3.2, released yesterday: https://wordpress.org/news/2019/12/wordpress-5-3-2-maintenance-release/

    Are you running WordPress 5.3.2?

Yes, I am using the latest version 5.3.2
I hope the bug is fixed soon
    Thank you, James

Hm, ok then it’s not the bug 5.3.2 fixed.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Still unsuccessful by troubleshooting mode on Site Health, I have disabled all plugins and changed themes.

There are 2 warnings on Site Health:

    1. PHP modules perform most of the tasks on the server that make your site run. Any changes to these must be made by your server administrator.
Warning The optional module, bcmath, is not installed, or has been disabled.
    2. Daylight Savings Time (DST) may affect the times used and shown by your site, and using an UTC offset, instead of a localized timezone, meaning that the site does not get automatic DST updates.

In number 2 I have set it according to timezone, it still doesn’t work.

At Settings > General in your site’s Dashboard, does the time displayed match your local time?

does the time displayed match your local time? Right/Appropriate/Precise Sir

When on localhost everything works normally, although there are warnings on Site Health like this:

    >> Daylight Savings Time (DST) may affect the times used and shown by your site, and using an UTC offset, instead of a localized timezone, meaning that the site does not get automatic DST updates.
    Update your site timezone

I have 2 VPS and 2 websites, with the same problem

Ah, I think that error actually related to the server configuration.

Is your server running on standard UTC time? It’s generally advised to always have servers running on UTC/GMT, and to let the software (WordPress) handle any offsets and things like DST.

Previously I never set the time on the server, when this problem arose, then I set the “date” on the server to adjust local GMT.
so I always advance a few hours back if I want to update posts.
    🙂

Does this have something to do with the NTP settings on the server?
How should NTP settings? must yes or no?

    Moderator James Huff

    (@macmanx)

There is no such thing as “local GMT” perhaps that is the problem. GMT/UTC is a constant: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenwich_Mean_Time

All right, thanks for the help, Mr. James
