I am able to install and activate the plugin. But when we click on CONNECT, nothing happens except the JavaScript error “TypeError: popup in null”.

I have followed the troubleshooting steps as provided by MailChimp (confirm PHP version is 7.x, disable all plugins but these two, use the latest versions of the plugins, and use the default theme) and this issue still persists.

    Can you help resolve this?

    Thanks.

@benvoth yes we’ve seen this come up before – you most likely have some sort of a pop up blocker that is preventing this from launching the modal window required to log in.

Can you please confirm that you’ve disabled your pop up blockers, or if you’re not using them etc? What browser are you using?

Thanks, we’ll look forward to your response.

Thank you! Sure enough, I’m using FireFox and the default setting for “Block pop-up windows” is checked “yes” and unchecking this allows this CONNECT button to pop up the window as expected.

Thanks again for the quick response and resolution.

@benvoth no problem at all, we’re glad you got it all squared away. When everything is all synced up, if you would be so kind as to leave us a fair review on the plugin, it would be very much appreciated.
