wpforms not sending email

    Hi, I am having trouble with wp forms. I am using simple contact form on page booking and members. I have installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin and test it. It works. The test email is sent and received successfully. I am using yahoo mail.

    But when I fill out the wp-form and click “Submit” I get the expected automated response. However, no email arrives in my inbox. It is not in the Spam folder either.

    I am using the same email address in the From Email field that I have used to configure Wp mail SMTP.
    I try deleting smart tags and entering email address manually but it didn’t help.
    I install wp-mail log. It is showing SMPT error: data not accepted.
    I check with my host provider and the problem is not with them.

    Can you help me, please?

    Hi @sanjavuk,

    Unfortunately, Yahoo has a super forceful DMARC policy, which means they filter emails sent using a Yahoo email address, but are sent from outside the Yahoo’s servers.

    As a result, people will sometimes see issues with delivery to Yahoo emails even when they don’t see issues with any other email provider.

    When you get the chance, please try using another email address to see if this resolves the issue.

    Yes, Yahoo was a problem. It works fine with gmail.

    Email delivery issues are likely due to strict email spam prevention settings that is wrongly detecting the notification emails as spam.

    To resolve email delivery issue, you could configure a SMTP plugin on your site so emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
