Disable reminder emails

    Is it possible to disable the reminder emails that go out 5 days before an event? We would prefer not to send them at all.

    Will setting the time to 0 days do this? Or will it just trigger a reminder on the day itself?

    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer with this.

    Great question @elrico13. The easiest way to do this is to make sure that the reminder emails are set to send very far in advance. If an automated reminder is set to send before the date the volunteer opportunity is published, then it won’t send it. For example, if you set “Number of Days Prior to Opportunity to Send Reminder” at Volunteer Mgmt >> Settings >> Email to be 730 (two years), then the reminder won’t send unless you have a volunteer opportunity that’s more than 730 days away from the publish date.

    It’s a little confusing to explain, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Hopefully that should get you where you need to go though.
