On Google Maps for this location in Carlsbad California:
    2100 Carlsbad Blvd Parking
    https://goo.gl/maps/5xuadhU8Qge59jQw6

Google Maps reports the following address:
2100 Carlsbad Blvd, Encinitas, CA 92024

When we enter this address into the Meeting plug in, it changes the address to the following:
2100 Carlsbad Blvd, Oceanside, CA 92054, USA

Which is a totally different address. Also it changes the location field to a previously entered meeting with the same address.

Ok, looks like the Google Maps Geocoding API is returning the wrong result. I will have to add an override. I’ll let you know when it’s done.

Sounds like you have other meetings listed at this (incorrect) address. Sharing the location name between meetings at the same address is expected behavior.

Is there any way to input Google pin co-ordinates?
We have had this same issue on our local military base.

Also lots of beach and park meetings do not have a normal street address nearby.
I tried a lot of beach locations on Google Maps and the API and there really isn’t a workable solution.

    For example:
    https://goo.gl/maps/KWnMndnug6hQDNBu7
Is at Tower 22 on Carlsbad blvd. There is not a normal address nearby.

I was told by the Meeting Guide folks that it requires a normal street address to be listed in the Meeting Guide app.

In some cases you can enter what Google calls a POI (Point of Interest). In this case, you should be able to enter Tower 22, Carlsbad, CA 92011, USA for your meeting address. It works for me on my dev site.

Do you still need the override then for the parking lot nearby? I find that even if I enter that Encinitas address into Google Maps I get the Oceanside result. https://imgur.com/lxpfnG3
