    I get crazy….

    When I upload an image there should be generated several other formats of this image. …but not for me 🙁 Sometimes the upload isn’t working at all and then the upload works but there will be no other formates at all or just some

    The image is working when I deactivate 21 plugins!!! 🙁 In the list there are plugins like the Gutenberg plugin which shouldn’t cause an issue at all.

    If it would be 2 or 3 I would look for a similar plugin and replace it… but 21 looks like there is another issue.

    I have WP 5.2.2. and PHP 7.3, tested it on my live system and an fresh WP installation.

    The link you gave does not show. It gets an error of a redirect loop.
    Maybe you should try using the Health Check plugin in Troubleshoot Mode, which allows you to disable plugins for your user only, not affecting visitors. It can help you isolate the plugin.

    Thanks Joy! The issue is nio identifiing the plugins which are causing the issu… The issue is, that this are so many plugins, which is not normal.

    The image link is working for me.. However, here are the plugins:

    I would suspect one of (or because there is a combination)
    123 Image Resize
    Smush
    EWWW Image Optimizer
    WP Media folders
    but then I don’t know what all of the plugins do.

    I have restored an older backup and the issue is gone… not clear what it caused but the only thing which counts is, that it is gone!
