Hello,
Again, I have issues to upgrade Elementor to the new version 2.6.4.
The upgrade gives me the red error: Update Failed: Could not create directory.
I’m using localhost on Windows IIS platform at this moment, so I can’t give an online URL. I don’t get any errors or issues with upgrades from other plugins.
It’s almost always with Elementor… 🙁
But I’m not the only one with such upgrade problems, I see.
Hope you can look at it?

Try the suggestions in this doc: https://docs.elementor.com/article/318-how-to-fix-the-could-not-create-directory-error

Let us know if that works or not.

Hello,
Thanks, I have done the upgrade manually, my taking a copy of the elementor folder and paste it in de plugin folder. Now the new version is workling.
But in fact this issue is not solved. The exact raison is not found why it doesn’t work before. With ohter plugins, I don’t have have this problem and even before, in the past, there where not such issues with the upgrades of Elementor.
So, it is nothing to do with write permissions or anything like that.
