The only thing keeping me from using this great plugin is that I don’t understand the thumbnail generation.
    I know that Google wants a 1×1, 4×3, and 16×9.
I know that the Create plugin is making 3 sizes of each of these image ratios.
But here is what I am seeing:
I upload a 2000×2000 image with WordPress thumbnail creation turned off.
    The plugin generates the following:
    200×200
    320×320, 320×240, 320×180
    480×480, 480×360, 480×270
    600×600, 600×400 (why 600×400? why no 4×3 and 16×9)
    720×720, 720×540, 720×405
    735×735

The Google Structured Data Testing Tool shows 4 images:
    720×720
    720×540
    720×405
    735×735

I don’t understand why we need to generate a 720×720 and a 735×735 and put both of those similar sizes in the markup.

Also what is the deal with the 600 sizes?

Thanks for your great work making this plugin.

I have looked into this some more and answered my own questions.

The 600×600 and 600×400 were made by another plugin.

The plugin creates a 735 width image in the same ratio as the original. It also creates a square, 4×3, and 16×9 at 720 width.

    Hello,

Sorry we didn’t get back to you before.

We do generate a few sizes primarily with the goal of enhancing pagespeed and providing schema everything it needs.

    Glad you tracked it down.
