Importing via RSS

    When running an import via the RSS input option to a new site, will PowerPress bring the media to a new website, or will it just put the link to where the media files currently exist?

    The import function within PowerPress only brings in show notes and Podcast Episode information (media file enclosures). It doesn’t transfer any media files.

    If you’re migrating to Blubrry Media Hosting, you can use the Migrate Media link within the PowerPress menu to copy existing online media files to your Blubrry hosting subscription.

    OK, thanks. Unfortunately, I think it is cost prohibitive right now to migrate data to blubrry, since we have over 200GB of data.

    Just needed to make sure on whether I needed to leave the files in their current folder and URL.

    Migration is free at Blubrry.
