    Hello,

    I just transfered a website to a different hosting, and now i cannot activate Browser Caching.

    I had Hummingbird installed before, on this website, and everything was working fine. I deactivated Hummingbird, i uninstalled it and then i transfered the website.

    I reinstalled Hummingbird, but when i try to activate Browser Caching, it shows FALSE under “Current Expiry”.

    I also have 3 other websites on this hosting, all of them have Hummingbird installed and working fine. So im guessing its a problem caused by the transfer, but i seem to not be able to find it.

    Could you please help me with this issue?
    Thank you very much!

  • @gabriel212,

    Have you tried clicking on “Re-check status” button? That might refresh the status to the correct one.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Yes, i tried that, but it didn`t solve the situation.

    @gabriel212,

    You could try resetting the plugin to the default state (in Settings). I can see that browser caching is set to 8 days on your site, so Hummingbird should pick that up properly. Unless there’s some server side caching that is storing incorrect results.

    I also tried resetting the plugin to default, but that didn`t solve it either.
    How could i check if there`s some server side caching that is storing incorrect results?

    @gabriel212,

    You’d need to ask you hosting if there is any object caching on the server.

    Ok, thank you very much for your help, Anton @vanyukov

    @gabriel212,

    Welcome. You can also check what is directly stored in the database. You’d need to search for wphb-caching-data option name in the wp_options table.

    Anton
