• Hi, on only one of my sites, the WordPress Admin display seems to have gone wrong. If I use the left menu to Select Posts/All Posts to get the list of posts, I get the headings and some strange display.

With regard to the headings, it correctly states there are 81 posts over 5 pages – with the last page having only 1 post. The last page correctly displays just the one post and the page before (page 4) displays only 5 posts and the last of those 5 is overwritten by what would appear to be some of the first 15.

All other pages (1 to 3) don’t really display any posts – certainly not correctly or in any useful way. It just shows a scramble of overwritten posts.

I can’t show you the page as I can’t get you onto my admin pages and I can’t attach any files or images here.

However, I have set up a publicly accessible page that contains images of the pages

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.

  • I would first investigate the plugin that is modifying the post list (adding the featured image and the post series).
You can use the Health Check plugin to Troubleshoot by disabling the plugins for your admin user only, not affecting site visitors.

I always thought the featured image was part of core? Certainly there is a plugin that changes the posts order.

Anyway, I have just done the Health Check Troubleshooting as you suggested and it would seem that the Post Types Order is OK but the WP Media Manage Lite plugin is causing some issues.

I will go back and see what I can do with the site in normal mode and take it from there.

    Thanks for the help.
