1. Is there an option so users must confirm email address in order to register/logon? Tried out the demo and just put dlkjdidl@dlkdudidlk.com which let me logon/post.
2. Can Google reCaptcha be used for registration/idea submission?
3. How is the tag cloud displayed for users on front-page?
4. Any options for entering tags besides ‘enter’? e.g. tags separated by commas
5. Leaderboard – ability to show newest posts as well as popular, most voted, top…
6. Only show the vote up (no vote down) button

Is there a chart showing differences in features between free version and Pro plugin?

1. No
2. No, we use our own better system
3. We don’t display tags, tags are suggested when the user types (pro feature).
4. Yes you can enter tags separated by commas
5. This is already achieved by the dropdowns/filters at the top of the board, this is not a leaderboard feature
6. This is a board setting already.
7. There is no chart, we display the pro features on the pro sales page: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/ideapush-pro/

Regarding tags…

I meant a tag cloud so people can see all the tags and browse for content using the tags cloud. The more popular the tag, the larger the font size in the tag cloud. Pretty standard stuff for tag clouds…

Yeah I understand what you mean, we don’t provide a way to display this at the moment. There could be other plugins which can help you display tags from custom post types.

Just been testing it out. Pretty cool plugin!
One problem…

Require email validation should be an option for the admin.

Without admin option to require email validation, it leaves site wide open to spam. Also, anyone can enter anyone else’s email address and those emails would get updates, etc from the site. Am I missing something here?

Would be cool if email validation required, and if verified, user would have a token/cookie that would allow them to interact without having to register/logon to the site. This would help reduce spam content posts.

I will keep this in mind, you are the first person to request this feature so far. You might be able to use a 3rd party plugin to do what you need like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-verification/ or there could be some better ones.
