Problem with editing pages in Storefront

    We have recently started to upgrade this site from an very old version of WordPress. When the Storefront plugin was updated it failed to adapt the earlier look and feel.

    My problem is that I can not find were to edit the main part of the pages. Those that normally are edited in “Pages”. They are listed but when trying to edit them some pages includes text as expected but some only for example the Front page only includes seom minor part of the page.

    If I go to Appearance > Customize I see the complete page but can only select to edit the loggo, menues and the footers, but not the teh “main part” , the stamps is not editable.

    Were can I edit that part with the stamps (as you see directly at dtstamps.com start page.

    Its possible that the content is coming from a plugin. Do you have one called “Homepage Control”? If not, please post your system status report as described here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/before-posting-gather-the-following-details/
    It might show which plugin is controlling homepage content.

    Can’t recognise a plugin that would do it.

    If you go to:
    Dashboard > Settings > Reading
    presumably the setting for “your homepage displays” is set to “static page”. Underneath that there is a drop down next to homepage. What is the page name selected there? Next, find that page in the list of pages. You should then be able to see the homepage content. Some of it may be in the form of shortcodes.

    When editing that page, go to screen options and ensure everything is ticked. That should ensure all the meta box content options can be seen. Bit difficult to advise sight unseen.

    Appearance > Customize will not enable you to edit content.
