    leaving that blank doesn’t workthe button shows up perpetually. how can I block it?

    Ah, I see.

    This is the intended behaviour: for Instagram there will be a “More” button always when there are more photos remaining.

    If you want to hide the button you can add some CSS under Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS:
    a.photonic-more-button { display: none; }
