Require Billing Address

    Hello,

    I use PayPal Checkout Plugin and on the payment page. I have deleted the Address Fields and the Customer can only order the Name and the Email(because my products are so cheap 1€).
    When I ask them to write their Address, they complain that the buying process is too long and don’t buy!
    I have contact with PayPal Support for “Require Billing Address” and they said:

    ““ MTS can not unlock the billing address on your account because we do not have access to it.
    The shipping address will be sent back in the API and IPN. This must be done in their integration. ““

    I need the address of customers, because in my country (Germany) for Tax Office I have to write a bill and they do not accept an invoice without address.

    please help me, how can I get the Address from customers? For example, if I sell on eBay I get the Address in my Account statement but via WooCommerce und Paypal Checkout I get no address!

    Hey there!

    It sounds like you want to make sure you collect the billing address from your customers, but you’ve disabled the billing addresses on your checkout. I understand that your customers don’t want to fill in their entire address … but the requirements are the same if you’re selling 1€ or 100€ products.

    Are you using PayPal’s express checkout that skips the WooCommerce checkout?

    Hi there,

    In that case you can activate the setting Under Advanced Settings as seen below. That will return the billing address:

    then I get this error:
    The “require billing address” option is not enabled by your account and has been disabled.

    Hi there,

    That means you need to both enable the setting within the plugin and also have PayPal activate this feature on your business account.

    I’m afraid there are settings in both the extesnion settings and on the PayPal side. I’d recommend contacting PayPal for clarification here.

    But Paypal Checkout said :
    “PayPal passes customer contact and shipping details to you so your customers can pay without needing to complete forms on your website.“

    but I only get Name and Email!

    Hi there,

    You’ll need to contact PayPal and have them activate the feature on your business account, then activate the setting within the plugin so the Billing Address can be passed through.

    I have used another plugin from Paypal:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/paypal-for-woocommerce/ (PayPal Express Checkout)
    or
    default woocommerce paypal
    and with both of them I get Billing address!
    but not with your Plugin!
    the problem is from your plugin
    Please Help me.

    Hi there,

    I did further testing on this issue and the error is occurring because you’ve removed the fields from checkout. You can add those fields back in and the data will post to the order with no issues.

    Hello Kenin,

    I have already tested and unfortunately the problem is not for Fields.

    I have 2 screenshot.
    one from default Paypal Payment Woocommerce and one from your plugin.
    with defaulte Paypal Plugin comes the customer address already above on the Zahlug page and if they pay comes automatically in the Billing Address, but with your Plugin does not come!

    Dear Kenin,

    I found the problem!
    The problem is “Product Data”. If product is virtual then with your plugin you will not get a billing address but with other paypal plugin you will get billing address.
    In Cart and Single Product page you can order without Addresses Filds and get Billing address from Paypal but in Checkout Page you get this error:

PayPal error (10728): The city in your shipping address is not valid. Please double-check your shipping address and try again. PayPal error (10730): The ZIP code or postal code in your shipping address is not valid. Please double-check your shipping address and try again.“

    How to order without address Fields in Checkout Page with your plugin?

    please help me because I love your plugin and I do not want to use the other PayPal plugin.

    Hello,

    I’ve talked to Woocommerce support and they only do advertising and say you have to buy another plugin!

    I just need this plugin and I have found the problem and now I just want to know: how can I also buy in the “Checkout page” like as: “Cart Page” and “Single Product Page” without address and I do not get this Error:
