    Hello,
my hoster informed me about a file from blog2social plugin v4.9.2, which was detected tonight by LinuxMalwareDetect. I guess its a false positive alert, but whatsoever please can you confirm this? I would forward it afterwards to the maldet team for false positive. Concerning file / message:
    {HEX}Malware.Expert.generic.stripslashes.base64.decode.post.0 : ./public_html/wp-content/plugins/blog2social/includes/Loader.php

    Thank you very much!
    kind regards
    Johannes

    Hello dear team,
thank you very much for your confirmation. Yes its the original plugin downloaded from here, latest wordpress 4.9.8 and PHP 7.1. I checked it back and its the original file. As I got info from my hoster, there were in the meantime other few false positives from other customers too. It seems to have to do with the latest LMD definition file updates. We will forward this to the authors so they may can adjust the definition files or make exludes.
Thank you very much for your time and sorry for this obviously false alert from my side, but i thought its better to ask.
    kind regards
    Johannes
