Cannot modify/edit/post new recipes

I was able to publish one recipe post, with all the content appearing correctly. Since then though, wordpress does not allow me to save changes, or publish a new recipe.
I can still edit other pages and posts all right, just not the one I created from Cooked. Also, when I click on Edit for Status, Visibility or Publish timestamp, nothing happens. These links work fine on other types of posts. I can enter the edit page by clicking “Edit” on the all recipes page, but after making changes, clicking “Publish” results in the page erroring out.
I have tried deactivating, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. This does not delete the recipe data, and as such has not fixed the problem. For context, I am using managed WordPress hosting by GoDaddy.
For the time being, it would be great if you can tell me how I can manually clear the recipe data from the DB for a clean uninstall. Thanks!
P.S. this is the only thing stopping me from a Premium purchase. I love the functionality, look-and-feel etc. but this issue is a show-stopper.
