I purchased Cooked on CodeCanyon.net, is this the same thing?

This version is not the same plugin. It has been completely rebuilt from the ground up and will soon replace the original (now called Cooked Classic). For more information on Cooked and the upcoming Cooked Pro, check out https://cooked.pro.

Reviews

Easily the BEST recipe plugin, 5 STARS also for support.

Did a lot of research for the perfect recipe plugin decided on Cooked, easy to customize and great support. Purchased the PRO version which worked well but was missing one feature that I required and was assured that it was coming in the next update. Due to my impatience I purchased another recipe plugin with the feature required, spent the next day’s customizing CSS only to find it lacked a lot of features available in Cooked and also had bugs. So reverted back to Cooked.

I can’t believe Cooked is free! The feature set and inclusions are amazing and it just works. Secondly it’s fast, fresh looking with clean code that is logical. Thirdly it’s just recently built with recent updates and features while all the other plugins are so dated and old.

I give it 5 out of 5 for the features & fast support from the developer makes it outstanding. The PRO version is worth every bit of its reasonable cost compared to other recipe plugins.

Superb Customer Support

I had a few issues (not directly regarding the plugin but it was affecting the plugin for some reason) that I was pulling my hair out trying to fix and after emailing support, my issues were resolved in no time and the plugin looks and works perfect. Great work!

Nice recipe plugin with small things missing

I checked out a lot of different recipe plugins and I liked this the most. So in my new upcoming blog be ready to see it in action! I hope my users will like it, too.

As a developer myself I like the lean structure its pretty well made. Nevertheless I needed to add some custom styles to make it fit to my needs: I did a more European Nutrition Table for example. It was pretty easy because everything is named well, so you always have a css class to simply overwrite. Thanks for that 🙂

The only think I miss are 2 or 3 extra fields under the excerpt field in the admin panel. So you can add additional information about your recipe with a shortcode somewhere in your template like on the top or button or before the gallery without changing the layout all the time. That will keep the template clear so you can simply restore all changes to every recipe without worrying loosing your special descriptions. Than that plugin will be a perfect 5!

PS: European people don’t like buying things at sites with no imprint. Cooked.pro should consider that.

Nice plugin

The developpers who made this plugin like their jobs for sure.

Easy use for Webmaster, nice front end for user… this plugin rocks !

Let’s go cookin’ !

PS : people who rate this one star are very unfair

Excellent Plugin

Considering how new this plugin is and how well designed it is, I’m truly surprised it’s received any negative feedback at all. Great job, Boxy Studio, I look forward to more updates and the Pro version.
