Audio not playing on Mobile

    I’ve used default WP audio widgets to put some audio on my homepage and it works fine on my laptop. However when I visit the page on my Android mobile and click “play” on an audio clip, the player shows signs of life (moving diagonal lines) but then no sound is played.

    My audio files are in mp3 format. Any help much appreciated.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Hello, I tested your homepage with my iPhone and the audio (Border Pipes At Wedding) played as expected. P.s update your contact page 🙂

    Thnaks for the replies.

    It turns out it was a Chrome issue. I forced the app to stop and then restarted and it worked.
