Exposing Reviews to other plugins

    I’ve enabled the Responsive Posts Carousel, with the hope of displaying several reviews in a carousel. Unfortunately, their plugin does not see WP Customer Reviews, even though they say they can select custom post types.

    It would be nice if it could.

    It’s probably because the custom post type is not public, which means it isn’t intended for display directly (via URL) on the front-end. I’ll bet that other plugin only allows you to select “public” custom post types. Perhaps they could make an update to allow you to use any custom post type, since it’s not linking anywhere, just displaying text.
