WPML and main listing page

    Hello!

    I am experiencing some problems with the main listing page shortcode [show_product_catalog] when I try to switch to a different language than the main one.

    If I set the same shortcode on the translation pages (translated with WPML) I get a warning which tells me that this is not the main listing page and if I want to set this other page (which is just the translation of the main listing page in a different language) as the main listing page.

    If I click on yes, everything works fine on this new page but I get the warning in the previous main listing page, otherwise the warning keeps staying there.

    By now I jut set on the translations the other shortcode: [show_categories] but this isn’t what I need.

    Is there some way to have the main listing page multi-language?
    In the documentation there is written that the plugin is fully compatible with WPML, can you please help me?

    Thank you for using eCommerce Product Catalog.

    In most cases such problems can be solved by switching the main product listing page to default. Can you please try it and let me know if it helped?

    Hello @ndre,

    When I switch to “default” I get a message that tells me: “Currently no page is set to show main product listing. Would you like to show product listing here?”

    If I set on yes, the main product listing page is set to this page, if I don’t, I have a blank page.

    Hello @amiduzzo,

    With the product listing set to default you don’t need the shortcode. As soon as you set it to default you can click the View Page button to see the listing page.
