    (@velarie2112)

On a single WP install v4.9.6 the update produced a 500 server error and I was completely locked out of wp-admin. This happened immediately after I updated the plugin from 1.6.10. As soon as I renamed the plugin directory, the site was working again.

On a multisite installation where the plugin is not network active, it only broke the sites that the plugin was active on, but it produced a PHP error instead.

I overwrote the plugin files with version 1.6.10 I downloaded in May and this resolved my issue on both sites for now.

  • Hi Brian,

Please accept my apologies and follow the instructions below.

Delete the Project Manager plugins from your site.
Install and activate the “WP Project Manager” free/core plugin version: 2.0.1
Run the updater as you can see the screenshot https://prntscr.com/k12vrv.
Download the latest “WP Project Manager Pro” plugin version: 2.0.1 from your account install and activate it on your site then check your site.
Also, you can follow a documentation here https://wedevs.com/docs/wp-project-manager/how-to-migrate-to-wp-project-manager-v2-0/.
Check your site again and let me know the update.

    Best regards.

    Hi @mdmamun-1,

Sorry but that migration process doesn’t work. It generates database errors what seems to be related to an unexisting table (PREFIX_cpm_time_tracker).
Even if I first update to 1.6.16 and then to 2.x this still breaks.

After migration WordPress works but WP Project Manager doesn’t load any projects anymore.
Please take a look at this, I think it might be a Pro vs Free edition issue.

    Regards, Jory

    Hi @mdmamun-1,
    I am using:
    Wordpress version 4.9.8
    WP Project Manager free 2.0.6
    WP Project Manager Pro

The Migration status keeps showing the spinner and never finishes and zero Projects (or anything) is migrated over. I have tried:
de-activating all other plugins except WP Project Manager
uninstalling and re-installing the WP Project Manager plugins
editing the options.php file to change the pm_db_version and pm_version, changing the pm_migration_notice to completed, pm_start_migration to 0

None of them work and no Projects show up. The spinner keeps turning but nothing gets migrated.

    Help!
