MonsterInsights like all WordPress plugins are not difficult to remove. If you’ve remoded the plugin and our code is still present it means you have a caching plugin or server provided cache enabled which you just have to clear.
MonsterInsights has no control or ability to clear this cache for you, but it makes sense as the point of static caches is to keep the code the same regardless of the underlying plugin changes.
I wish you reached out to us prior writing this review, given the issue isn’t caused by our plugin though we are more than happy to help you find the solution. If you have a website url we might be able to help you identify which cashing plugin is enabled and how to clear it.
