I am seeing a connection error when I run your site through our diagnostic tools. Can you please try cycling your Jetpack connection, by deleting the plugin then reinstalling/reconnecting to WordPress.com?
First, please go to WordPress.com/me and click on the sign out button, to make sure you’re completely logged out of WordPress.com.
Then, to deactivate and delete Jetpack, head to your site dashboard and go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Once the plugin is completely removed, go to Plugins > Add New to install it, then reconnect.
If you still have issues when you try to connect your WordPress.com account to your site using the Jetpack plugin, please let us know what error shows up and we’re happy to look further into it!

I changed the browser from google chrome to microsoft edge and the error message appeared:
Error Details: The Jetpack server encountered the following client error: Verification secrets not found

Typically this is some kind of cache-related issue. Have you tried to flush the cache already? If not, give that a try. If it still hasn’t worked try adding this plugin to flush object cache: https://github.com/georgestephanis/object-cache-flusher-button/

I have tried the suggested fix by @pmciano but still receive this error, too. This is a fresh install of wp 4.9.7, with akismet and nextgen gallery installed. I have flushed the cache, and followed the directions. I have tried different browsers, too. Any other suggestions would be very welcome because I need to get this working soon. Thanks so much!!
