I am not seeing any instances of Photonic-generated markup on your site, which can only mean one thing – either your theme or one of your other plugins also defines the gallery shortcode. This is easy to bypass – you need to set up a custom shortcode for Photonic. You can do this via the very first option in Photonic, under Photonic → Settings → Generic Options → Generic Settings → Custom Shortcode.
While you can use the custom shortcode without issues, there is a bug that a user pointed out with using the script insertion with a custom shortcode. I posted the fix for it, but if you don’t want to fix it, you can simply change the shortcode that gets inserted into your post to use the new shortcode.
I’m still having the same issue. I updated the custom shortcode to be photonic. I insert the photonic code via insert media. I have tried with the updated shortcode to read
[photonic type=’smugmug’ view=’albums’ nick_name=’alwaysandforeverphotomemories’]
and I have tried using the original
[gallery type='smugmug' view='albums' nick_name='alwaysandforeverphotomemories']

What is currently set as your shortcode? Is it gallery or photonic? Which page currently has the shortcode with photonic? Do you have any caching activated via any other plugin?
Since this is a new site, can you try switching temporarily to one of the Twenty* themes and see if the problem continues? I don’t see any problem with your shortcodes – I was able to use them without any modification at my end, so I am trying to eliminate obvious culprits.
Also note that I am currently on vacation in Europe, so the only time I am checking my mail is during the morning and the night.
Hi,
I wanted to follow up and see if you still needed assistance with this.
