    After uploading the 2 files to the www directory of my new GoDaddy hosted domain, I navigated to http://www.example.com/installer.php. After clicking next the app runs for a minute and then I get

    Server Code: 500
    Status: Internal Server Error
    Response:
    Error establishing a database connection

    This is a fresh hosting account (Economy). I never get out of step one. I’m a total newbie here and have no clue how to make this work.

    Hey @jayhova4x4,

    What is the size of your archive.zip file? On GoDaddy economy, anything over 70MB can run it issues pretty easily. GoDaddy implements a high level of server throttling on their lower-end options…

    As it happens my zip file is 91 MB. Is there anything I can do to get this working?

    You might try a two-part install, it is a work-around for some of the budget host limitations. Details of the process can be found here:
