    Hey guys,

After installing this plugin, we’ve noticed a dramatic increase in page load time. When deactivated, we are getting about 0.5sec for most pages and about 3sec for checkout pages. With your plugin, it’s more like 4sec for normal pages and 10+ seconds for checkout pages.

As an eCommerce business, this kind of performance decline causes a measurable change in our conversion rate, so there’s no way to justify using the plugin.

Could you please ask your developers to address performance in the next update? And/Or can someone take a look at my setup and provide some feedback on where the bugs are that are causing these problems?

    Much obliged,
    Tim

Hi @tmhoward, we’re happy to help. Just to get a handle on the situation you’re experiencing, could you provide a few more pieces of information to help us understand the issue?

    – What plugin version are you running?
    – Is your site self-hosted, or is it a wordpress.com business account?
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running?
    – Is there any logging errors in the plugin’s logs tab (when it’s set to standard or debug)?

Also, if you’re a larger store, you may consider using the CLI version. Here’s more information about that in regards to performance: https://github.com/mailchimp/mc-woocommerce/issues/158

Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

    – Kyle
