Hi @scboy,
If I understand correctly the variation options dropdown is no longer showing on the front end of your site (even though the variables show in the back end)? Like this:

Let’s double check for any theme/plugin conflicts with the most recent WooCommerce
update. Please upload the plugin [Health Check](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/). It is a tool that can be useful for debugging. You can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site.
Go to Dashboard > Health Check > Troubleshooting tab > Enable troubleshooting mode. You’ll be prompted at the top to activate a default theme. Please activate the Twenty Seventeen theme. Then, go to Plugins. You’ll see all plugins have been deactivated. Please activate only one – WooCommerce core.
If it shows correctly, then it’s a theme or plugin conflict. Reactivating each plugin one at a time, then see if the issue pops up again will tell us which plugin is conflicting.
Let us know how it goes!

Hi Thanks for the information and getting back. I have done some investigating and i had two issues (one being the related products failed to show and the other being the dropdown to switch images).
Re the related products. This looks to be a theme issue, as i have enabled all plugins and they are there, but when i enable the theme they disappear. So that has at least isolated that issue.
You were correct in your assumption of the drop down. I followed your instructions however with no other plugins and the default theme, the dropdown still did not show?
I have however noticed that the product on the backend says “instock” with it saying on the front end “out of stock” could this be stopping the dropdown from showing? I am not selling products just now but i also need to stop it from saying “out of stock” on the front end. Stock management is off, but I tried to enable it and set a large number against the parent (this didnt help) and I tried also adding stock to the variations (again didnt help).
Any help on getting to the bottom of the disappearing dropdown would be appreciated

Hi @scboy, glad to hear you’ve isolated the first issue.
Regarding the dropdown, please check that your variations have prices set in the product data. Without prices, the items will show as out of stock.
Hope that helps!

Hi there!
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread. And any further information on how the product is set up would help – link and screenshots (using https://snag.gy/ to add shareable link to the forum.
Thanks!
