    Hi

Im having 2 issues on my site and urgently need help:

    1. When I log into the site and go to the WooCommerce settings section, I click on the shipping tab and it just loads and loads and loads until it eventually times out. We have upped the site capacity and all but still it just continues to load and never opens.

    2. We have added 4 shipping zones and within each zone there are various postal codes which we got from the couriers. However, we are experiencing an issue where the site doesnt recognise the province in conjunction with the postal code when someone tries to check out. How does Woocommerce associate the postal codes?

So for example we have a zone called main regions and there are various postal codes in there… one for example is 0250. Now this is supposed to be in the North West Province in South Africa but WooCommerce wont pick it up when I add something to my cart and calculate shipping – it only picks up this code if I select Gauteng from the dropdown province list.

We are not entering the provinces in the shipping area, only the codes, which we have done on many of our other ecommerce sites but for some reason this one is not picking up the code in the correct province.

Is there a way to tell woocommerce that these postal codes are in Gauteng and these are in Northwest??

Is there a way to remove certain provinces from the dropdown list if I say I am selling to South Africa – is there a way to exclude these?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks

    Hi @abosct,

    1. Could you copy/paste your system status report here?

Could you also check to make sure this is not a theme or plugin conflict? Please upload the plugin Health Check (https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/). It is a tool that can be useful for debugging. You can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Go to Dashboard > Health Check > Troubleshooting tab > Enable troubleshooting mode. You’ll be prompted at the top to activate a default theme. Please activate the Twenty Seventeen theme. Then, go to Plugins. You’ll see all plugins have been deactivated. Please activate only one – WooCommerce core. Then, see if the shipping tab will load normally.

If it shows correctly, then it’s a theme or plugin conflict. Reactivating each plugin one at a time, then see if the issue pops up again will tell us which plugin is conflicting.

    2. Would you mind supplying some screenshots of the settings as well as what’s shown on the front end so we can try to replicate what’s going on? You can send a screenshot using https://snag.gy/ to add the shareable link to this thread.

    Thanks!

    Hi @abosct,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks!
