Whoa!!!
Problem gone – There’s a nice box to tick in Settings, under Theme Compatibility: “Enable this if your sermon layout looks broken. This will disable full-page layout override, and use alternative layout algorithm.”
Sorry I was too hasty.
Hi David,
Yeah, some themes don’t have perfect compatibility with Sermon Manager, but we are trying to make the plugin be compatible with most common ones. It’s already 100% compatible with:
- Twenty Eleven
- Twenty Twelve
- Twenty Thirteen
- Twenty Fourteen
- Twenty Fifteen
- Twenty Sixteen
- Twenty Seventeen
- Divi
- Salient
- Avada
- And of course, all of WP For Church themes
“Theme Compatibility” is there to ensure that we support even more themes out of the box, but we have a bit more magic behind the scenes for the compatibility with unsupported themes.
Also, any user can create a layout override to create a compatible one. 🙂
Cheers!
I’m having the same issue (along with other issues) using the “Gospel” theme. I’m pretty sure I could add some CSS to hide the sidebar, but I just wanted to mention the incompatibility with this theme.
