View PDF, Prevent Download

    Is there a way that I can force PDFs to only be viewed in a new window or in a separate plugin rather than the user needing to download the files overtime they want to view them?

    Yes, there is a new window setting on the File Away Settings page that takes a comma-separated list of file extensions.

    I have that option set and it still not opening on a new window, only gives me the download option. I does look like it tries to open on a “lightbox” like window before displaying the download option.

    Well, do you have flightbox enabled?

    Hi thomstark, thanks for the prompt reply. I did confirm with a fresh install of the File Away on another site that this is the issue. Where do I enable the flightbox?

    Also, on the new install the FileAway shortcode didn’t show on the text editor, do I need to install a shortcode plugin in order to see it?

    So, I did find out about the flightbox from one of yours videos on YouTube but I can’t see to make the “FA” shortcode builder to show a new clean WP install.
