External Services

ZA Creative Social Buttons includes share buttons that, when a visitor clicks a network button, open that network’s public sharing page (for example X/Twitter intent pages, Facebook Sharer, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads, Mastodon, Pocket, and others). Only when a visitor actively clicks a button is the post title and URL sent to the selected network’s sharing endpoint, so the visitor can complete the share in their own app or browser. Sharing pages are controlled by each network, not by this plugin.

The exact list of networks is configurable; only the networks you enable add a share button. The relevant platform terms of service and privacy policies apply:

WhatsApp Sharing

When a visitor clicks the WhatsApp share button, this plugin opens the WhatsApp share URL https://wa.me/?text=<post title and URL> (the external WhatsApp web or mobile application). At the moment of that click, the post title and the post URL are included in the link so the visitor can choose a recipient and send the message. No data is sent to WhatsApp before the visitor clicks the button, and this plugin does not collect or store the recipient’s phone number, the message text, or any WhatsApp account data. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to anything sent through their service.

Because the specific networks you enable determine which platform’s sharing page is used, please re-check your own network choices in the plugin settings. This plugin does not phone home to any other server; by default it stores share/click analytics locally in your own WordPress database only if you enable the Analytics feature.
