False Claim

It seems to be very good but not happy that the main feature I wanted was promised and is not in free. Here is what the description for basic claims (Online users, visits, visitors with interactive map of visitors location.) Now it is obvious the interactive Map is only in paid, please remove the claim or make it state specifically the map is in the paid version. I hate handing out low stars for all your hard work but do not make claims that are not true, I am testing this along with another and will likely dump it because of that. Edit - Now after use this is very good I will buy pro 2 stars not fair for description error.

A Breath of Fresh Air

I'd been dissatisfied with other stats plugins for years. Three days ago, I went looking for a better mousetrap and found Real-time Visitor Statistics. Am I pleased? You bet. I'm as over the moon about this plugin as Jackie Gleason was always threatening to send his wife on the old TV show. Despite never having used anything but a free version of a plugin before, I couldn't help myself. Clicked on the big green Upgrade to Pro button within hours--couldn't even wait a full day--so I could get more goodies, especially the Traffic Stats feature, which is outstanding. One point about the Pro pricing: Yes, you can buy a one year subscription, but if you sign up for the extended version, you're paid up for (get this) forever. Sorry to sound like an infomercial here, but this 75 year old writer and photographer in Montana just had to say it. Just a few of the features I love about the plugin (Pro version) include: 1. Beautiful, color coded bar and line graphs, easy to read at a glance and ever so addictive. 2. Bounce rate button. I swiftly discovered that while an individual hour may produce a 100% bounce rate, there are also folks who come to the site and seriously study multiple pages. 3. Hourly traffic stats. Want to know which hour of which day gets the most traffic? For my site yesterday, it was between 10:00 a.m-11:00 a.m. So far today, it's been from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. (on a Sunday). 4. Listing of traffic sources by country and even, for the most recent visitors, by city. 5. Separate colored graph bars for page views, new visitors, and total visitors. 6. Courteous, swift-response customer support from Osama. This plugin designer is both congenial and good at what he does. There's more, but you're already bored, right? For those who prefer the free version, hey, there's nothing wrong with that, either. Budgets are what they are and you still get a really decent, accurate summary that outdoes by a country mile any other statistics plugin I've tried to date.

Great service

I use the paid version. There were some conflicts with another plugin. These were solved very quickly by the developer. The plugins now work without affecting each other's operation negatively.

Clicking on internal links hijacks browser & redirects to shopping cart

Just awful. You install the free version to test what it does, but then if you click on many of the links for features that are only available in the pro version, you are then automatically redirected without warning by javascript that hijacks your browser and sends you off to a shopping cart to purchase the pro version. This is a terrible experience for users. It's like standing on the platform at a train station, and then someone comes along and shoves you onto a train just before the doors close and sends you to an unknown destination just because you happened to be standing on the platform. I'm pretty certain this is also against WP Plugin rules, and the way in which this plugin use javascript for redirection is appalling. I'm seriously thinking about reporting it to the moderators.
