Description
Your readers already use AI assistants to make sense of what they read. Wavesy AI Summary Links puts a clean “AI Summary” row on your posts so they can open your article in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok in one click — with a prompt you write, pointing back to your page.
No API keys. No AI bills. No chatbot slowing down your site. The plugin simply builds smart, pre-filled links, so it stays fast and free forever.
Built and maintained by the content and CRO team at Wavesy.
Why publishers use it
- Keep readers engaged with your content – instead of copy-pasting your text somewhere else, readers get a summary that cites and links back to your page.
- Get your brand in front of AI – every click sends your URL, title and site name into the assistant, helping your content get associated with your brand where people now search and research.
- You control the message – write the prompt once (“Summarize this article from {site_name} and list the key takeaways…”) and every summary starts from your framing.
- Zero cost, zero maintenance – nothing runs on your server and there are no tokens to pay for or keys to rotate.
- Looks native on any theme – a compact, accessible row that matches your design, with brand-colored icons or a single color of your choice.

External services
When a visitor clicks an AI provider button, their browser opens that provider’s website with your configured query. Data sent depends on your template (typically page URL, title, and site name). Review each provider’s terms and privacy policy:
- OpenAI / ChatGPT — https://openai.com/policies
- Anthropic / Claude — https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- Google / Gemini — https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Perplexity — https://www.perplexity.ai/hub/legal/privacy-policy
- xAI / Grok — https://x.ai/legal/privacy-policy
If you enable Google Preferred Sources, the plugin loads https://news.google.com/swg/js/v1/publisher.js on pages where the widget appears. See Google Preferred Sources documentation.
Privacy
This plugin does not run analytics or send visitor data to Wavesy. It stores settings in your WordPress database and optional per-post written summaries in post meta. Outbound requests occur only when a visitor clicks a provider link (their browser opens that service) or when Google Preferred Sources is enabled (Google’s script loads on pages that display the widget). No tracking pixels or hidden phone-home behavior are included.
Trademarks
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, Google, and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. Wavesy AI Summary Links is an independent plugin and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.
