Front End View

Minimum Requirements

Setting Up

  1. Activate the plugin
  2. Go to UpStream > General Settings and configure the options as required
  3. Create a Client by going to Projects > New Client
  4. Create a Project by going to Projects > New Project

Will UpStream work with my theme?

Yes, UpStream works independent of any theme.

Why doesn’t the UpStream frontend look like my theme?

UpStream does not use the existing styling of your theme. The features and the very specific nature of the plugin make it impossible to integrate into existing themes. The plugin is highly customizable though, so you can tweak it to look the way you want it to.

Does what we want, price is reasonable, support has been great, highly customizable. If you need project management this is definitely worth a look.

Very Good Project Management Plugin, Great Support

I have been using Upstream since the end of March of 2018. Prior to that I have tried a bunch of project management tools, both hosted and plugins and never really liked any of them. Upstream is a very useful tool which helps keep me and my business on track. I will admit that I had some problems at first but they have been ironed out and tech support is really very, very good.

Self-hosted solutions may require a little extra work but the benefits are huge. For example, they allow you to add users and make customisations that can get very expensive very quickly. Yes, you need to buy the premium version to get the extra tools but that is true for almost all project management tools and the price is very reasonable, it is a good value for the money.

Ever since we made the decision to purchase Upstream I’ve been nothing but impressed with the plugin, the team’s support, and future feature set (come on Milestone/Task Dependency).
