This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

rtSyntax

Description

  1. Uses highlight.js.
  2. 26 themes included.

  5. Super-optimised, only loads js for the language.
  6. Adds buttons to tinyMCE for ease of adding code blocks.

Installation

Automatic Installation

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
  2. In the search field type “rtSyntax” and click Search Plugins. From the search results, pick rtSyntax and click Install Now. WordPress will ask you to confirm to complete the installation.

Manual Installation

  1. Extract the zip file.
  2. Upload them to /wp-content/plugins/ directory on your WordPress installation.
  3. Then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.
