Plugins Garbage Collector

Description

Plugins Garbage Collector scans your WordPress database and shows the tables beyond of core WordPress installation. Some WordPress plugins create and use its own database tables. Those tables are left in your database after plugin deactivation and deletion often. If your blog is more than 1 day old you have some plugins garbage in your WordPress database probably. With the help of this plugin you can check your database and discover if it is clean or not.
Extra columns added to the core WordPress tables could be shown also.

Reviews

Works Great

Exactly what I needed to clean up all these leftover tables from over the years. Works as advertised.

Great Job..

Searched tables, found all unused tables and deleted them.. perfect!!

Did not delete tables but did show what ones were not apart of the core install.

Read tables but did not delete the ones I wanted.

I was able to use the tool to make sure the tables in question were not somehow involved with my site. I was able to use MyPHP to log in and drop the ones it found, so it half worked for me but for others that don’t know anything about databases, well good luck.

Would have been nice to have it perform the whole process.

Awesome

Does the job, no problems whatsoever. Just make sure to take a backup first, it’s easy to break your website if you’re not paying attention.
