Meow Analytics (Google Analytics)

Adds the Google Analytics code to your website and a little dashboard with realtime and historical data. It’s discrete, light, and just works.

If you, like me, are tired of all those Google Analytics related plugins trying to do too much, like forcing you to subscribe to a 3rd party service, cluttering your WordPress admin and slowing your website down, Meow Analytics will feel like a very welcomed ray of sunshine in winter! 🙂

This plugin is very new (it was released in February 2020), so please let me know your feedback, issues, and requests. I will improve it little by little.

You can access to some of your analytics data directly in your WordPress dashboard (realtime and historical data). If you wish to do this, follow this tutorial. No worries: of course, it doesn’t use a 3rd-party service. I will never ever do that.

Have you used another analytics plugin before? Or maybe another type of plugin which asks you for the authorization to access some of your resources at Google? Please check your Google Permissions. You might want to remove the access you granted to those 3rd-party services.

Visit the Settings under Meow Apps > Analytics, enter your Google Analytics code, and that’s it. For more, please check the official page of the plugin: Meow Analytics.

I'm used to work with Meow stuffs. WP/LR Sync, Gallery and Lightbox. Few month ago, my analytics plugin was updated and didn't work well. So I moved to Meow Analytics. I was confused by its simplicy. I thought I had make a mistake during setup but no. This plugin is really simple to deploy and very efficient. Plus, it really light. One again, it a really good good job. Thank you
August 25, 2020 my left screen, cause my right is my primary display. So now I can keep an eye on the realtime data whilst working on other things, such as binge-watching kittens. Some days I just cringe when I open the official Google Analytics plugin cause it just takes ages to load!!

This is a very good plugin, simple to set up and with a clean dashboard. The support is more than okay, very pro-active with a fast response.

A very simple and effective app. Great support too, when it didn't immediately work for me (hint: activation of the right apis at Google did the trick 😉 )

I really like this plugin. Not only because it's free 🙂 but it's simple with a nice overview of what I want to see. Far better than the renewed GADWP and Monsterinsights I used before. The installation is simple with a clear documentation how to get the necessary info from google analytics. Really recommended as well as his other plugins with topics WP/LR sync and lightbox: two irreplaceable plugins for my photosite.

Another great Plugin from Jordy Meow. I already using the Meow Gallery and Meow Lightbox and love these Plugins. The Meow analytics plugin came in the right time, because I used another one but this got a big update with useless tools I don't needed. Thanks for your good work and keep it up. 🙂
