IMPORTANT: If you use only
ga.js, this will not work. You must be using
Analytics.js for this plugin to do you any good.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Configure GA Universal using the new ‘GA Universal’ page found under Settings in WordPress
- How do I get started?
Go to the “GA Univeral” section of Settings, enter your “Property ID” and click save changes. It’s that easy.
- How do I add additional properties?
Click “(Show Advanced)” near the bottom of the settings page. Then click “Add +” next to the current properties to add a new one.
- Can I add code before or after the Google snippet?
Yes! Click “(Show Advanced)” near the bottom of the settings page. Then add code to “Code Before ga() Functions” and/or “Code After ga() Functions”.
