    I'm running a multisite and when I activated the plugin it was activated in one of the sub-sites for some reason. As administrator, I was not able to access tabs to display stats at all. I inactivated and uninstalled the plugin, deleted the site and tried to reinstall and reactivate it again but it won't. I receive the following message:

    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''option_name' VARCHAR( 50 ) NOT NULL, 'option_value' VARCHAR( 50 ) NOT NULL ' at line 2 on line: 257

    I've the latest MySQL through my web hosting company.
    Did I something wrong? Any idea how can I fix it?

    Thanks.

    To clarify, the problem is with the plugin WP-SlimStat.

    First go in an run a repair on your SQL DB.

    Yes, super-admin support has not been implemented yet.

    camu - The part that looks odd to me is he's saying it was activated on a subsite upon installation.

    Is the plugin not MultiSite aware or just needs to be per-site activated, or will it never work due to globalization of tables?

    The MU-awareness in WP SlimStat is still experimental and needs to be thoroughly tested and polished. I think I have a working version now, so anyone available for testing, can contact me at

    to have a copy :)

    Thanks for your replies.

    A dumb question! How should I run a repair on my DB? Unfortunately, I'm not so familiar with databases yet :(

    I appreciate any directions.

    P.S. I could also volunteer to test your multisite option on my experimental multisite in a week or so. I'll send you an email.

    @camu,

    After repairing the database, I now receive this message:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function create_post_record() on a non-object in .../plugins/popularity-contest/popularity-contest.php on line 2151

    and later same issue as in previous post above:

    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''option_name' VARCHAR( 50 ) NOT NULL, 'option_value' VARCHAR( 50 ) NOT NULL ' at line 2 on line: 257

    It seems that it interferes with Popularity Contest which for me is a useful plugin. I deactivate it and when activate it again it just is activated in a first site starting with A and NOT the site I'm trying to activate it on (starts with M). As admin, I can not see the reports.

    In the other hand, it is possible to network activate the plugin and then I can access the reports. So far no graphics! I'll give it some time to collect some info.

    Hope you can fix this bug before the release.
    By the way, isn't it possible to display where users are connected from on a map?

    So you're saying that if you disable my plugin, you don't see this error anymore? Weird...

    Yes, it appears when I'm trying to activate SlimStat in the mainsite (didn't try this in network at first). However, it generates both second error message without being activated.

    When I deactivate the popularity contest, SlimStat could be activated but only in a site starting with A and not the main site!!! Seems these two plugins somehow interfering each other.

    When I don't activate your plugin, receive no errors and everything works fine, including the popularity contest.

    @camu,

    As I promised previously, I'll contribute Swedish language files for this plugin in a couple of days.
