Maybe its just me but my checkbox is above the message "Notify me of followup comments via e-mail" so I went in and unchecked the css clear checkbox in the settings, clicked save, went back to the settings and its still checked.
is this a bug?

It's doing the same thing to me using the Presswork framework. I've noticed on a number of occasions that this plugin can be extremely buggy with certain themes.
