If you’re using tags in the breadcrumbs and you’ve got a dozen or dozens of tags for a post then it’s too much, I’d like a way to limit the number of tags that get outputted, …. just a suggestion.

I guess that’s within the realm of possibilities. Though, I have to wonder if maybe you should consider using some custom taxonomies (wouldn’t expect a post to have more than a handful of tags).
