Not sure if this already possible and I’ve just overlooked it. Basically what I’m setting up is a sort of mini-hub for people to share media footage of their nights out at one of my friends monthly gigs. I’m using the Inline Upload plugin as the main upload interface for members as it automatically creates directories for each user who uploads something. What I’m trying to achieve is a way of displaying the base folders of each nights category (ie. Halloween, Easter, etc…) with the subdirectories of each user appearing automatically as subdirectories on the page once the user uploads something…is this possible with this plugin?

I’ve already added the plugins shortcodes to the video page – http://sin.theweare.net/singalleries/sinema/ – but as you can see nothing is showing up (I’ve uploaded a test video file via Inline Upload, it’s definitely on the server in the expected folder under my own username, but doesn’t display on the page).

Hi LJ, No, as of the 1.10 version, the plugin will not read subfolders. It takes a “folder” argument and will only display files from that statically named folder. It would be nice to add this functionality later, but you can’t do this at this point.

That’s a real shame as it’s one of the main features I need for the site (it’s times like this I start to regret going the “self-taught” route over the actually going to Uni route X-D ). Do you know of any similar plugins that have this feature I can use until it’s added – if it’s added – to this plugin?

Fyi, I’ve already tried out the Al3x File Manager & WP-Filebase plugins. Al3x File Manager causes JQuery conflicts on the page causing other elements not to display properly, and WP-Filebase only seems to display an inactive link (I may not have configured properly but I’d gone through all the steps as outlined and as far as I’m aware everything I entered is correct)…
