mharris: it’s very very hard to force ads to NOT target “blog”. There’s a post a while back about more specific targeting: try a site:http://wordpress.org/support/ plus keyword “targeted ads” and see if you can turn it up.

I’m having this EXACT same problem on one of my blogs, but only on the index page. Once I open an article, the Google Ads are targeted.
I have another blog which returns targeted ads on all pages.
The ‘blog’ ads are getting on my nerves, so I’m hoping someone has a solution to this… 🙁
