i tried the way it was put in the forum deleted then made a new folder, and i get this message now,

Installation Failed
at least its a different message.

i then went back deleted the folder, remade it and gave it 0777, then back to my site and there is a under construction sign up, maybe its auto updating

no failed again will retry but got first message back, tried again still failed.
Hi esmi i havnt got the skill to do it manually yet, i found out why it couldnt find the index file or reload into the same folder:) my site was hacked and a file abby computing was in place of mine, i couldnt delete it till i deleted the data base in cpanel, then it deleted it ok, i reinstalled but still cant get it to up date so i will wait till my isp puts up a knowledge base vid or get them to do it, thanks for your help. steve

Just FYI: there is no such file theme-editor.dev.css in any version of Oenology.
If you were using Oenology when your site got hacked, the Theme files have probably been compromised, and I would recommend deleting your current install, and installing a clean version.

Thanks for the information, i did a complete delete, including the data-base and still have the problem, so i will wait it out for a while then go else where, probaly back to B2Evoution, thanks for the info.
