Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections and keep track of 404 errors without requiring knowledge of Apache .htaccess files.
Fatal error in dbase
There is simply nothing else like it, I have depended on it for quite a bit over the years as I switched urls. Time to finally contribute to this great author.
I tried a simple redirection, but I kept landing on the same URL.
Really makes allowing our users to do their own redirects without having to delve into the intricacies of .htaccess files.
i've installed this plugin in it looks great but!
when i activated it idk what i did but when i go to my site Elmam.co it redirects it to http://www.elmam.co/elmam.co/elmam.co and idk why!
i've tried removing it and same problem!
please help me with this>
Цей плагін мені прекрасно доміг, при зміні хостингу мого сайту стрибки з парашутом у львів. Дякую автору за роботу.
For all the defined links it is working perfectly, and logs attempted URL's that are not defined.
The Auto URL entered in Options seems to do nothing. I created a new page asking visitors to update their bookmarks, but this only displays for the old site pages that I decided to skip at the new site, and specifically defined a redirection for this.
I love this plugin I've used it for years on a load of websites never had any problems with it. Only thing I'd say is it should be more obvious when it auto creates redirects for you when you change permalinks which is a great feature but I remember sometimes being very confused.
Other than that it's great!
It's a good plugin to manage the redirection. It helps me to fix the broken link issues and all 3O1/3O2 solutions ;) Thanks a lot for this.
