Pods is a framework for creating, managing, and deploying customized content types and fields.
What an amazing FREE tool that lets you do just about anything you can think of. Lots of nuggets that make things pretty easy and the support has been amazing so far!
Have used it for several projects and works way beyond expectations. Superb plugin!
I use pods as a back end. It's stupid powerful and easy to use.
I can easily create any post type, taxonomy and custom fields. It's great plugin!
The support people have been great, helping me build a ridiculously complex system of databases and pages that reference them.
After an extensive research of almost 24 hours, reviewing and trying dozens of solutions for finding the most versatile framework that will allow the creation of an extensive interrelated database in WordPress, Pods is the only solution.
Yes, it might be too complex in areas where other tools provide "1-click" solutions, in the end, it's the only one that will bring TOTAL freedom into your project, the hierarchy you want to build, the advanced relations between everything, and a wealth of options in displaying and filtering all of these in your site.
If you are still on the lookout, you don't need to look further, start using and studying PODS!
A huge thank you to all of the developers for providing us with such an amazing solution, and for the outstanding support they provide through the forums :)
As a framework for creating, managing, and deploying customized content types and fields, Pod allows me to easily add any content my customer asks for with a single plugin.
very powerfull! I recommend it, great stuff
There are others (ACF, etc) however, PODS was super easy to deploy, and even easier to master the basics. Can't wait to delve in to its awesome power.
Well done Team PODS!!
I'm not sure which is more impressive: the Pods tool itself, or the unique support/development model (Friends of Pods) which makes me WANT to give them money to keep going. It's a mature tool, respectful of WP standards in it's approach and extension, and community oriented. What's not to like?
